I am predominantly a PHP developer and am most at home within the Laravel framework. I have exposure to working on a wide range of projects from small functional tools to large management systems that require scalable and efficient database design.

At Vantage Cloud, I continuously work with customers to ensure the platform fulfills their individual needs. This could be a new module or adapting existing features to match the customer existing business processes. I will also work with many different 3rd party API's to ensure various data sets are synced with the Vantage Cloud platform.

In my role at Somerset Design I was the lead on various projects including a sponsorship auction platform and a considerable system that handles inventory among many other tasks. I was responsible for teaching and assisting colleagues in learning the Laravel framework. Another duty I had was maintaining and updating legacy sites.

During my time at BNS my primary role was working on the MyBNS platform here landlords and tenants can log to help eliminate the difficulties in renting. MyBNS also allows the company to undertake many more clients making them a leader in the property management industry.

As one of the first employees at Layered Technologies I took on a wide range of roles and responsibilities, from working on bespoke systems to being involved in the conception and key contributor a new SAAS product. Another role I undertook was dealing with clients on a daily basis, this could be giving them support or meeting with them to plan how the software could integrate with their processes.

During this 6 month internship I was 1 of 8 within a group of developers and filmmakers, I worked on the Visible You project that aimed to explore the idea of social isolation in teenagers in the form of an interactive documentary. My role within the project was working to design and create the website that hosts the documentary.
